Hi Mimi ! I came upon this beautiful abstract, and was immediately captivated by its striking and vibrant graphic effect. I didn’t have time to read every word of all the comments, so I’m not sure if the Rothko reference has been mentioned, but it struck me that this does have a great Rothko-esque quality, but even better, it’s like there’s a dimension of a kind of photographic “emulsion”, as though painted on, that creates this great minimalist vast landscape/texture that’s just fantastic! Then I saw that I’d already swooned over this long ago.
