It’s an impression but I looks terrible…but real great colors…the impression came from the fight between those two nice colors
the blue and the red and those terrifying hyeroglyphes in black
hope to not ennoy you with this long comment…but great one

I get the distinct feeling that you are an implicitly complex human being Mimi.
Amid all the chaos of your mind rests a beautifully harmonious place that few have ever experienced or have the faculties to experience.
I wish I could find that utopia myself, but for now I’m glad you exist.
mimi yoon replied
wow~ i don’t know what to say steve…
you have just turned my dark and ugly corner into a heavenly place… all with just a few words… i hope you find your utopia…
thank you soooo much…

great use of colors, dark and light. I wish you would explain what you were trying to express. But you may not even know that yourself. Love it.
mimi yoon replied
thank you william… and you are sooo right, i don’t know… there’s a big dark cloud inside and i don’t know how to analyze it, explain it, or make it disappear… : ) thank you again…

OOOOHHH!!! I love this one! It is so colorful, dark and expressive! Very nice use of materials!
mimi yoon replied
again, thank you scott… very spontaneous work… no plans… only the brief thoughts from the shower… no visions… no expectations… just the feelings and emotions… and the mood dictated when to stop… or was it the interruption from one of my students…
scott allison
however your creative timing worked out, it is wonderful! i really appreciate the immediate way you work. i have been working in layers again… it slows me down but i am enjoying the process and outcome. i have a new piece nearly done and will post soon :)

This is painting Mimi. Very touching indeed. A refugee camp under the snow…a wonderful abstract…a self -portrait in wich only the feelings remains after the features of the face had faded away. I can only see a soul here. Soul remains unlost.
