no, i planned to… but his eye looked happier, i thought, in my drawing than he’s in the ref. photo… so i decided to keep it as is.
i touched up his ears… drew a few more lines to form his hand and the collars… chamois-ed here and there…
i could but really don’t like to do tight rendering… rather photograph if i was looking for a photographic result… the truth is i just don’t have the patience for it :P

thanks… took approx. 40 minutes on the first day, then about 10 minutes touch up on the next day… and it’s charcoal on newsprint.
