I’ve now reached my 6 month anniversary on RB so I think it’s a fitting time to conduct a stock take.
Ok, so total views have just passed 2,500 from 50 images. 3 months ago and I was at 1,000 views from 28 images, so dusting off my mathematics hat this indicates that I’m on an upward achievement curve in terms of average views per image which has increased from 35.7 to 50.
I’ve also been priviledged to receive 27 group features, 1 RB homepage feature and 4 top ten competition finishes, so all very encourgaging and positive.
Therefore I’ve been inspired to raise the bar and issue myself with a little challenge. I feel that my work is consistently improving with time as I learn and hone my techniques, so I’m going to keep my gallery at 50 images max and as I upload new artwork I will also remove the images that I feel could either be reshot at a higher quality or just haven’t been as popular as I would like. As a target it would be nice to get to a position where all 50 images have been group featured! Could take a while to get there but there’s nothing wrong with setting goals!
Hmmm, just realised it’s beer o’clock on a Friday afternoon as it was for my last entry. I can see a pattern emerging…
