Ozcloggie over 9 years ago You will not appreciate me writing that I have an iMac. Wanted to thank you for looking in on my pictures. Jo Sam Van over 9 years ago I know nothing. However, I live with a technical director..and before that a computer teacher(my dad that is, actually long long ago!) …and I also use mac. There should be an ‘automatic/understood’ to new stuff like that. no reading required-I get very frustrated too! just delete it! CBTan over 9 years ago You’re right – we humans are creatures of habit and generally don’t take to changes very well (whether positive or negative). My first word of advice is to turn User Account Control off. Despite the “sky is falling” type warnings of doom from the OS, agree to it, and it will save you a ton of hassles in future (eg. moving a file will no longer require 4 instances of confirmation). Antoine Dagobert over 9 years ago my advice to you do not use vista..just stick around with XP.. I just have a bad experience with Vista.. Rosalie Dale over 9 years ago Most people I know have decided to give Vista a miss – sorry buddy – no help!! Sleek Images over 9 years ago I’ve been using Vista for about 6 months now and haven’t had any major problems… It seems to run faster than XP and is a lot more funky… If you have any specific problems then let me know and I’ll try to help… In the last 2 weeks, I also just switched everything over from an XP desktop to a Vista desktop and haven’t had any probs yet… Expect the usual “Why don’t you use a Mac” comments anytime soon… Brett Keith over 9 years ago Thanx everyone for the input..I will work this out, i will not let it beat me, i will stay positive…lol…See, staying on top of it alreadyAgain, thanx to all SnowDog over 9 years ago My new quad core pc is allmost 2 months old and I have no problems at all with Vista.
