Sunset above distant Croatian hills, taken from Žanjic, Montenegro.
On the left side you can see famous peninsula Prevlaka, a long time disputed territory between Montenegro and Croatia due to its strategic position and entrance of Boka Bay, demilitarized and held under UN custody for ~ 10 years. As far as i know it is now a neutral territory with unresolved legal status.
In front is island Mamula with fortress built by Austro-Hungarians. During World War II, the fort was used as a prison by Italians (Campo Mamula) The prison was known for torture and cruelty to the prisoners.

Magnificent, timeless views; I would never get tired of sitting watching the sun go down there!
Yep Steve, on that day i had a best seat. Drove some 1.5h to that place to take a swim but all i did was actually walking around and shooting :)
Not a bad way at all to spend an evening !
