A view from Round Bald Mountain – one in a string of ~6K foot high balds situated on the northern border of Tennessee and North Carolina. Famous for its late spring rhododendron bloom, this area offers one of the most exhilarating opportunities for incredible views in a short hiking distance.
This panorama was stitched together in PS CS5 using 7 overlapping full format 35 mm images in portrait orientation. Redbubble limits the length dimensions for uploads to 10 megapixels. Even at this size, the available file is beautifully detailed for posters and large canvases. You can bubblemail me if you would like to purchase from me directly a custom ex-large canvas printed in the 18 × 6 megapixel dimensions (93 MB) of the original jpeg file.
