mikoto's Husky T-Shirt

mikoto's Husky

the Siberian Husky can often have Complete Heterochromia whereby only one is its eyes is a bright arctic blue.

its such an interesting aesthetic and goes well with my mikoto logo, the daruma doll and the french bulldog that i have previously designed:

So glad you asked that Mikoto and I’m finding them a bit blurred/pixelated as well-anyone else found that?? Oh and by the way-great image!! Come on where’s the border collie! You’d have a guaranteed sale!!

  • mikoto replied

the last few i have put up just seem very dull, i know RGB are unrealistically bright but they just seems washed out. its a little weird, my old T’s seem much brighter.. thanks for the compliment BTW. Border collie is on my list (。◕‿‿◕。)

great design! i see what you mean – just now on my PC, the t-shirt version’s blue eye is duller than the pic to the right! strange…

It’s not a new thing, we’ve been doing it for a while, they have been adjusted to represent how a CMYK printer will handle your image, obviously a web screen is RGB, so we have to fiddle a little, CMYK being a smaller colourspace means that some colours alter.
It’s to ensure your customer gets what they see, we can make it look bright, but it won’t print like that and we don’t want to disappoint.

Creating your images in CMYK mode and converting at the last minute should ensure that you don’t notice any shift in our previews after you’ve uploaded, but some colours may still be affected.

thanks for the explanation. that was my suspicion, but I am disappointed. my old T’s look so vibrant, and the new ones look like there two years old :( they are so dull on the screen … i know that is how they are in real life, but i dunno, the look really weak. whinge whinge whinge!
