Beach Fale' - SAVAII - Samoa
” ‘O Savai’i ‘o le motu moni o le ōlaga faigatā o Sāmoa.”
The island of Savaii is a relatively unspoilt and beautiful place, clean and inviting.
This photo is of a beach fale’ ( samoan hut/house ) upon a beach on the north coast of Savaii, the largest of the Samoan islands. If you ever go there, don’t go looking for the hotels in the islands with their conveniences, go to the villages, met the people support the local economies and stay in their Fale’s, to know a place, you must meet and know its people.
I can’t wait to i go back!

Beautiful shot, and so true about meeting and mixing with locals.

Too true. It really is the only way to get to know a place. Get outside the resorts! Beware the heat and mozzies in a beach fale though.
SUNSET STUDIO ...
