By the Sea.
In Tahiti, as else where in Polynesia, cleanliness was a priority and it was not uncommon to wash and bath ones self many times within a day.
Though to bask under God’s sun and dive beneath the colours of a Polynesian Shore line needs no obligation or invitation and perhaps cleanliness was but one reason out of many to enjoy what was so freely given in natures care, as this vahine “By the Sea” surely knows.
