It had taken a whole lifetime to get to this point. When he was 45 he had read “It takes a whole lifetime to learn how to Die”. He’d been around for 93 years now and though he’d had a few brushes, He’d never Learned that lesson. His Guru had predicted it for Today in the early afternoon and his Guru was never wrong. Like that time he had predicted Snow in August in Florida. Experts had put it down to “a freak of nature” , "a meteorogical mishap " , “A possible impossibility”, and He had been called “A dangerous Fraud”, “A newage nut” and “A Malignant Madman” by hithertofore reputable journalists when he had made a public announcement on National TV , but they had all been prooved wrong and The SnowGuru video had had over seven million hits on GuTube over the past week. It was coming up to 5.30 PM when the first sirens rang out from the distant city, Then the air began to waver over the desert and wiggle and shimmer! On The horizon The sands of the desert seemed to be shifting and moving towards him in a strangely dignified chaos. He looked more closely, It wasn’t just sand, it was men and women and cars and trucks and camels and cattle and They were all speeding towards him and away from a giant mushroom cloud which joined Earth to The Heavens so majestically. There was nothing to do now. His fingers automatically sought the medallion on the chain around his neck. His index felt the familar contours of the face of He, who had never been wrong.
