who will sing my song
original acrylic on canvas 88×205 cm – 2008 (image in 2)
I walk with the grains beneath my skin
I look to the clouds for signs in their form
I talk to the ocean as I enter in prayer
I sit patiently observing life all around
I smell all things held in my hands when alone
In the night-stars and moon I let myself cry
My tongue, lips and saliva – I taste on my own
I am strength, gentleness, compassion and care
From my past I feel sadness
For my future I feel fear
And it’s now in this still moment I breathe
And quietly declare
Who will sing my song?

lovingkindness to every fellow artist above this line for your generous words and support. (this painting is very adult and personal in many ways and its also about dropping all the disguised adult-bull-shit and letting my child out)! hope to do more images of this nature :)

Oh, my, gosh! Not only is the painting extraordinary the poem is amazingly beautiful.
I like the raindrop / teardrop and the sphere next to it. Is that you in a yellow shirt leaning backwards inside there?
mikeyartscape replied
yes totally see him in there now – the strange thing is in most of my work during and after I see face images from all angles and some stay and then slowly fade from canvas – thank you for beautiful comment and sharing :)
