“It’s relatively rare that I find an image that clearly portrays emotion that is REAL… not posed. There is an immediate power in the reality that makes it difficult for a viewer to look away – though the moment captured would, in life, most probably be such a private one…
I know it takes an incredible amount of energy to manage to capture self-portraits as you have done for this series – congratulations!
The reality of it leaves us all richer for making us feel and think of things we otherwise may not like to ‘touch’…
Really great work!”

This is a wonderful shot, I just had to leave this remark, “Good on You” for this series, it shows me that you are a very mind soul, who can relate too living in this world of unreal humans? GO FOR IT, with Cheers as your work is good real good

This image is so emotionally charged. I’m certain we have all felt like this at some point in our lives. I love your execution, the blur and to me the hands look like they are trying to keep your head/mind/thoughts from spinning, really strong work, I love it :D

  • Thanks again for your brilliant comments, to know this series is resonating with people/or speaking to the viewer is very humbling for me as the artist to know… the comments & feedback are very much appreciated, and help to make this series all the more worthwhile. I was not sure what the public response would be to this, however, it is my responsibility as an artist, to take risks, be honest, provoke thought and challenge perception, and so we grow… Thank you :)

Wow, the whole room keeps on spinning while all you can do is try to work out how to stop it. The look of stress and anguish, coupled with your pose in this is so effective. Carries such a strong message across. This series is absolute brilliance!

  • Now thats a comment! :) Really appreciate that Andrew, great to hear this series is resonating with you, thanks so much
