Potter - Raised in the clay by

A small town only needs a few tradesmen. A blacksmith, a carpenter and a potter. Each person fills a role to make the people that live in that town, happy. A potter was important because they made all the plates, bowls, and containers used to store food for the winter. Even today we use dishes of a similar style.

If you look to his right, you’ll see a pile of wet bowls, the potter leaves them to air dry for a while. Everything is then loaded into the kiln all at one time. They fire them in large batches because it’s far more efficient, as it saves on wood. After it’s been fired, he will glaze it, and put it back in the kiln. When finished it will last a 1000 years or more provided you don’t drop it.
