Love this! I know I could have cooked on the stove (really, I can cook on nearly anything and proved it when we lived in Mexico)... not sure about those irons, though! Lol. When I look at this, the first thing I think of is how WARM it must have been to huddle near that stove in winter. Much cozier I think, than wall-board heaters or the like. Either way, not everything back then was bad – which is proven by the way we love to look at it today. Excellent capture from the past!
