Roanoke, VA – June 2008 – Made to look like an illustration from an old magazine. Does anyone know what car this is? It has a logo, but I can’t make out the middle letter.

That would be a Desoto Fireflite whch came out in 1955 sporting a 255hp V8 engine. The specific one in your photo would have came out in 1957 as the first year with large tail fins, triple taillights and dual oval exhaust. Sadly, the Desoto came to an end all together in 1961.
