In the early morning of the 15th May 2011, I headed out to Terrigal to capture the conjunction of Jupiter, Venus, Mars and Mercury in the pre-dawn sky.
I was perched on a rock avoiding the water and this beautiful scene was captured just as a large wave rushed through, drenching my feet and legs up to my knees.
I love the sense of movement that is captured here.
Captured with a Canon 40D + Sigma 17-70mm lens, 17mm, ISO400, 0.4s exposure @ f/8.0.
