what an emotional unique image Mike…this brings to mind the struggle that some people have with anorexia…a big health concern ..well done!
This is a deadly disorder, it’s hard to imagine someone thinking they are too heavy when in fact they are too thin. Great job!
This is a mntal disorder my niece passed away of 2 years ago , she was 33. She was also bi-polar. Her journals were full of demons and lack of self acceptance. I feel it may be associated with psychophrenia, as she heard voices telling her she was fat, amongst other negative things. God rest your soul Lisha.
I’m so sorry Lynnie. God bless
Mike, thank you so much. I believe this was a God thing, finding this art. It is helping me grieve, but also remember her Lisha and honour her memory. What prompted you to do this? Lisha could have gotten into a rehab facility for this, if she lived in a different state, and had insurance. It was a very long battle, starting when she was in her early 20’s.She lived by herself though , had a dog and 2 cats and was eccentric and artistic. She’s with jesus waitin for her friends and family when we join her, meanwhile shes a good weight now, up there, and dancin around! sorry for all of this. Bless you also—-so much!
Thanks again Lynnie – I’m glad you find my picture helpful. I worked for several years on the eating disorder wing of Great Ormond Street Hospital, so I met several girls like your precious Lisha. I guess they were the lucky ones to get this help. God bless you and Lisha too, no more harm can come to her now.
