Pinoteau Village, Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada
July 18, 2010. 7:30 a.m.
I was walking back from taking shots of Lac Tremblant and “The Hidden River” early Sunday morning and spotted this lovely lady browsing in the woods alongside the road. She paused long enough to give me the once-over and decided that the old guy was harmless enough, although she did check on me every now and then. Things got just a little tense when she heard someone else approaching, a gentleman out with his dog for an early morning stroll. I was able to signal to the gentleman and he stopped dead and put the dog on its leash. The dog was not overly impressed. She browsed some more, did the odd hoof stamp, then slowly wandered off, deeper into the woods.
And there’s no doubt that she was a lady!
