Guindon Park is a series of cross country ski trails located just on the west side of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. I spend countless hours there, just wandering the trails, and, year after year, I’m amazed at the profusion of wildflowers growing there throughout the seasons.
This calendar consists of just a few of the many types I’ve found there and I’ve arranged them by season, from April to September. Obviously, from late October to early April, there is a slight shortage of flora of any type. And there’s a bit of a shortage, too, in the summer months, due mainly to the large mosquito population making itself felt. Over the years, they’ve developed a taste for a shot of blood with a mosquito repellent chaser.
I hope you enjoy this calendar as much as I did photographing the flowers.
Thanks for taking the time to look.
