Nicely lit. Now Grandpa knows who took his watch though.
Mike Oxley replied
Thanks, Brock. One of my “quickie” jobs – set up, took the shot, uploaded, changed to jpeg, posted in about 10 minutes. Lighting courtesy of 2 Mastercraft 3 led flashlights (20 bucks each at Canadian Tire).

it would be ironic if “Oxley Engineering” is the same company that now specializes in LED lighting.
Mike Oxley replied
LOL. It would be, wouldn’t it! Unfortunately, they made those great big storage tanks that were and may still be a blight on the British landcape and are no longer in business.

They are great keepsakes. I have my Dad’s watch too.
Mike Oxley replied
Thanks, Al. They are great. Funnily enough, I have Dad’s old watch as well – it’s one of the late 80’s Radio Shack’s digital ones – a far cry from his Dad’s!

Beautiful watch wonderfully captured Mike:)
Mike Oxley replied
Thanks very much, Aileen. It is a lovely old watch, very simple in design. And, amazingly, it still keeps good time.
