Fleur de Paradis...
I was attracted to the strong afternoon sunlight which backlit this strelitzia flower. The original turned out to be too busy so I blacked out the background and cloned out two of the lesser spikes, which, I think makes for a simpler image with more impact and which better presents the strong backlighting.
Taken at the park at the Centurion mall – taken with my sorely missed late Canon EOS300 (film) – sadly passed on to that great camera-land in the sky…)
