This lone hawk was spotted silently surveying St Michael’s Mount during the summer of 2008 on a walk from Praas Sands to Perranuthnoe, just round the corner from Prussia Cove, the old Smugglers Haven.

It was taken using the extreme end of telephoto on Chris’s new Canon A720IS that we were trying out.
The image was then post processed in Paint Shop Pro X2 and Photoshop 7 to produce this Liquid Effect. Looks great,albeit a little disturbing, printed large…. particularly when on canvas.
