Salutations to one and all.

My photographic obsession started when I was about fourteen years old, in a school photographic darkroom. The medium is messy and smelly, like some other areas of life.

Fixing shadows and solarising highlights are just some of the crazy-stuff i got up to in the surreal world of darkrooms.

Since then I have learned alot about digital and film-based photography.

I have great admiration for the 8×10″, and 4×5″ formats.
Go and buy a book on Kenro Izu if you want to know what the appeal of large formats is… Film is for the crazy, but committed photographer, digital is for those of us who want an easier way.
