The Little Village

Mike Glaysher

The Little Village

Watercolour on paper.
Our friends were considering buying a house in this village to the West of Prades, high above a local road. Like many hill villages there are lots of interesting corners and views of the local houses and surrounding hillsides. There are excellent places for picnics.
I loved working on the perspective of this subject as it sets several problems in perspective.

The Little Village belongs to the following groups:

British Painters, French Architecture , Realist Traditional Art and Water Media (Paintings by hand only) Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

Lots of perspective to sort out as you say Mike – and all came out great – lovely painting. I love all these small `streets` in Europe
