Artist's Description

Another shot from a new collection, from a trip to Sapa a few days ago. Sapa / Sa Pa is a town in the mountains of north Vietnam, at the Chinese border. The surrounding mountains are home to a number of minority tribes, each identifiable by their different, colourful and decorated traditional costumes.
The majority of the people to find in Sapa are from the Black H’Mong tribe (the woman in the background), while other tribes include the Red Dao (pronounced “Zao”, the lady in the foreground), the Flower H’Mong, Black Dao (only found two ladies from this tribe) and one more which I’m still having difficulty to identify.
