We had a chance to go to syria last year, But my wife will not travel to places like this now, She doesnt trust the people which is sad. What a fantastic image though Mike, well done.
Mike de Lange replied
Thanks again Ric. Syria is a great place, the people are friendly and it is extremely safe. Western media can be very cruel and biased, which really is part of the problem. Whenever the opportunity arrive again, all I can say is GO without any doubts.
Ric Alexander
I will one day, and probably it will be by myself as she will not go, We talked about this after i posted the first comment. You are right though, the british media really tick the boot in IMO. Yes i would have a little concern over what could happen, mainly fuelled by this, but i dont think it would stop me going.
