Hi again Michael. Had a look at your site. It’s great. But had a problem finding the drop-down menu you talk about to see sizes/prices. PS. I’m a painter/etcher/drawer & love photography -have absolutely no problem with your form of art. Would be surprised if any artist had a problem with it.

Hi Whirligig, the prices are found on the individual pieces. When you select a gallery, say Kimono, then a sub-gallery, all those images are displayed in a row along the bottom. Selecting an image shows the image with a grey bar ’ INFO AND PURCHASING OPTIONS’. Select the bar and prices will be there. Clicking on a price will display other options. Choose a size/price, select ‘ADD TO CART’ and that takes you to the PayPal website. One problem you may have had is that I have not put prices on the detailed enlargements as people might think this cropping is what they are buying. I have 2 details with all the Paintographs, but not with the photos. You might have clicked on a detail where there are no prices.
    Thanks for the interest.

Michael, I love this, it’s beautiful. I am interested in purchasing – can you tell me more about the mix of photography and painting? Is the final product a photo or painting on canvas? What size would this look best in..small, med and large? Will it compromise or change the colour/pixelation the larger the photo/print? I imagine this would look amazing no matter what size! Am looking for something special to mark the big 3-0 birthday….

Hi Maria, thanks for your interest in this work. The original photo and other variations can be seen on my website www.paintography.com.au in the ‘Photography > Kimono’ section (3rd photograph). Red Bubble print these works as a photograph but unfortunately not yet onto canvas. My images work best on canvas because of the varied textures created. I have a 24”x24” print on canvas of ‘Kimono Reveals #1’ and it’s beautiful. Sharp and colour accurate so there is enough detail in the file sizes of my images. You can order a canvas from my site or a photo print from Red Bubble.

If you would like to know more about the creative process, just email me from my site.

    Cheers.
