Thank you TinaA brilliant place
Yes it is a beautiful place. Great shot Mike!
ThanksI want to go back there
Great shot Mike, the ever lovely Staithes. With any luck we will be there next week to have a look at Sue Nicol’s exhibition which starts on Friday 8th I believe. I hope the weather is as lovely as in this shot and that will be perfect. Alma
Thanks Alma, I would love to get back up there.I’m sure Sue’s exhibition will be excellent, she captures the mood of the place so well.
Mike, what a gem of a view… great angle! BEAUTIFUL photography! Cheers!, Lisa =)
This place fascinates me Mike from this and your other pictures. There must be a great set of locks to take the boats down to the sea level. Terrific capture ! Fav as well.
thanks mate.there are no locks, the moorings in the beck stop a short way further up from this view, the boats sit on the mud a low tide
What an ‘Exquisite’ shot Mike! This one really stopped me in my tracks! What a great placement in the picture that blue house is! Just in the right spot compositionally to lead the eye through to the ocean. Well over a 100 on the ‘Robbo Gaspometer!’
Thanks for your brill comment Lynda. In some of the low level views the blue house becomes a bit of a distraction because it sits towards the edge. You could certainly weave your magic painting in Staithes, It has a long history of attracting artists.Have you seen the paintings by Sue Nichol on RB?
Great view and well captured Mike
Great view of a lovely spot
Thanks ChristopherIt sure is a fantastic place
