The grainy effect is NOT post proccessing but salt spray. Yours truly and his camera (my faithful panasonic fz50) took a bit of a battering this morning.

Nice work Mike I have several shots over the last week including this morning at 7.30 am the only trouble was to get the best shots you had to run about forty feet up the beach to retreat each time !
By the way I will paint this Mike but in a wide format, this has lovely tones & shadows and it is a chance to try out my new range of paints !
