My son William & his friend Tom are sailing in the RS500 Nationals at Arun yacht club.
This is the view from the club Veranda the night before the competition
Very pleasant, especially with a pint to hand.

Lovely shot Mike. The light against the blue looks stunning. I see Pat has made a reference to Bill, and I was having a little wonder about him too as haven’t seen him around the Bubble for awhile.

  • No he has been rather quiet, I know he has had a lot of work
so painting has taken a bit of a back seat lately

A wonderful scene Mike. How did your son William and his friend Tom fare in the competitions?

  • They did well considering the conditions, They were the youngest crew at 16y.o
They finished 14 of the 18 boats.
They averaged 10th place in the races they were able to finish
