Saturday 1st August I teamed up with 4 other photographers (working as Pulse Photography)
to cover the BRIGHTON PRIDE Event. We each took a different section of the route to enable us to capture the whole event.
The plan is to produce a book of the event which will be available to preview & buy online

I have always been interested in photography, but have only started exhibiting my work in the last year.
I am particularly interested in Landscape photography.
I mainly focus on the area of the south downs where I live ( an underated part of the country).
Elsewhere my favourite area has to be the Lake district
I also photograph sailing events, My youngest son William has competed at many events during the last 3 years.
Since June I have teamed up with 4 other photographers to do event photography such as the Brighton Carnival & Brighton Pride.
I am collaborating with a fellow artist (Lorusmaver)
I photograph images and he paints his interptretation
of the same image.

I have 3 cameras
I have just bought the Panasonic G1 with 2 lenses 18-45 & 45-200. This will be used for my more serious exploits
The Panasonic FZ28 will still be well used.
If I don’t want to carry a lot of gear, this will still be my camera of choice
Canon powershot s50 which lives in the glove compartment of my car… Just in case.
I have passed on my Canon 300d to a good home.

This pic of Longstone Lighthouse is my one claim to fame.
I entered it into a national competition last year.(My 1st ever competition)
it was voted 3rd out of over 3000 entrants.
That is what inspired my to start showing my work
