Wow, how jagged are those rocks. Is almost like Mother Nature placed them there as a warning to passing ships “this is a no landing zone”
. . thanks Jenni . .this is the Jurassic geology of the Dorset coast, now a world heritage site, the rock and strata were laid down in the Jurassic age [ on the level as an ancient sea bed] and are now being revealed by coastal erotion, having been tilted by tectonic plate shifts The West Bay area in Dorset is famous for the fossil finds and we have the remains of a fossli forest now 50m up on a cliff edge . . . .
