halloween killjoys
my little girl made a real effort to dress up, she is only 4 so we decided this year she can go in her pussy cat suit we bought her, face make up on with whiskers and all, she looked real pretty, so of we go down the street knockin on doors, the people we know where real nice and said how cute and gave sweets, some times money, but the people who we really dont know either never bothered answering or when they did said “NO THANKS” and shut the door, halloween is a time for kids to enjoy the night of halloween, let them get dressed up, in our house we have a massive bowl full of sweets we bought specially for tonight, why are people so morbid, its a time for kids….WAKE UP PEOPLE.

No thanks? Huh. Well, they are supposed to give the treats so what are they saying no thanks for. Bah. Seems to be more and more people like that.
I have to admit we lock the door too…we live in a neighbourhood of two houses and the children next door don’t trick or treat (not allowed for some reason). But we do special bags for all 5 of them, and our own 4 grandkids and deliver them on Halloween.
The only kids we get in our neighbourhood are big…a lot bigger than me (and I am no peanut) and I am often here alone – I won’t answer the door after dark.

That’s terrible! I had my living room window decorated, my witches hat and broom by the door and a bucket full of sweets mixed in with plastic spiders, skeleons, rats, frogs and other creepy things! I got 3 14 year old boys who took a spider ring each! I was gutted. I love Halloween, I love seeing those little smiling faces all dressed up! That is such a shame! Should of come to my house, she’d have had more sweets than she could eat!!
