and have added my own words to present a special message to friends/children…
“No matter what kind of mood you are in, you are special to me”
It is always such an encouraging message for children to know that they are loved no matter how they might feel inside. It helps them to feel safe and secure, and gives them permission to go through the gamut of emotions without being too concerned that they won’t be loveable if they display emotions other than happiness.

Wonderful and important message :D Yes, we(not just children :D) all need love and affirmation from time to time no matter how strong or steady we may seem on the outside….and being in a safe environment will allow them to know that we love them as who they are…and not impose unrealistic expectations on them, leading them to think that they ought to be what we want them to be. This card celebrates the fact that all children are unique individuals…just ike how we adults like to think we are individual beings with unique needs and wants(just my thoughts, hope I didn’t go off tangent)

yes, i sometimes think we put pressure on kids to be happy all the time, and forget they have feelings and disappointments and need to express those times, and feel accepted and loved through it all…..
