migaloomagic in antarctica – a little white whale travelling through antarctica…what journeys has he/she made so far…where has he/she come from and where is he/she going to now…..what magic happens on his/her travels….??? I’ll leave that open for mum and dad to tell the kids imaginative bedtime stories…..I created this new shop because I felt there was a special need for art for children that would inspire parents to tell their children stories at bedtime off the top of their head!! Just like they did in the good old days…getting back to basic parenting!! Oh what a joy :D

so are these just backgrounds so you can then use them for kids stories.. its a great idea.

i hadn’t actually thought of that..using the backgrounds and importing different characters into the foregrounds…now that’s clever, probably looking at art from an animator’s perspective….to be honest you guys
keep coming up with more and more ideas for me, between you, Fa and
Midori…i’ll be kept busy for the rest of my days …which is a great thing :D
It was just something that developed in my mind very quickly…although I had made a whole website previously which is dedicated to digital art…i got this new idea only the night before last…and since I couldn’t sleep with the excitement of it all…i just launched it straight away without having too many deep concepts about it all…..my original digital art website is here but i feel that as I’m learning to do more in Photoshop that I can expand on those ideas now and create something a bit more complex than those very simple designs….(altho i realise these are still extremely simple…anyone could do them :)

anyone can launch a rocket to the moon – no one does it.
i reckon – a whole bunch of backgrounds – jungle, artctic, desert, city.
then you have another set of cards of CUTOUT chatacters.
so you buy a canvas background and a few cards of characters you cut out.
instant toy.

I am feeling the excitement brewing here in migaloomagic!! I love the simplicity and cuteness of the designs here(very refreshing!!) and I’m sure it will make the children go wild with their imagination :D I love how ‘bubbly’ your whales look, they all look like bubbles :D When I think bubbles, I think childhood, fun, purity , innocence and having a great time!! Nice work with the little icebergs in the background. Can’t wait to see how migaloomagic will evolve in the days to come!!! Keep up the good work Karin!

A lady called Eva discovered her/him and name it after
herself…hence “Eva-loo”!! lol isn’t that wonderful!!
