    Hi Mieke
You do live in a lovely part of the country with such rich colours.

Love the crispness of the background. Is that achieved by a slow shutter speed and tripod? Also love how the light illuminates the subjects. Noizly done, Mieke.

  • Yes. And with an aperture of f/11, focusing on the boab and making sure that none of the settings change between photo 1 and photo 3 (because if the colour/focus changes, you see the lines where photoshop stitched the photos together)
    :)
    Taking notes?

A very cool panorama Mieke. The red rocks seem not at all unusual to me, and even the close foreground is common, but the trees, mostly the boab, just blow me away. Were you here in the desert southwest you too would feel the odd mix of the home like familiarity with the odd parts disturbing the comfortable feeling.
