zeiss!!! D800!!! – moving up market, girl!just joking – worth it for your great photos – what a fabulous place to live near!
I’ve been a good saver this year!! Besides, Derby has no clothes shopping, no cinema, no theatre, no ritzy bars… much better to spend my $ on camera gear, don’t you think? :) :) :) Thanks, Christopher – and yes, I do live in a fabulous place!
stunning Mieke! what an amazing tree and sunset….you are a very lucky lady xxx
I am indeed lucky, Ingz :) Thank you!!
Great image well done :)
I was actually thinking you meant Derby, England until I realised that I’ve never had a view like this…lol. Stunning!
Lol! I believe “Dahr-bee” in England is rather a long way from “Der-bee” in Australia… and yes, I can imagine your views are a little different to mine!! :) :) :) Thank you!!
Will it fit my Canon? Thats a great shot..I am off to Kununurra for the next six weeks so watch out!
Awesome, David! I’m going to be at Home Valley (on the Gibb River Road) for the next week with a bunch of other photographers… if you head up the Gibb and make it there, please ask for me – I’d love to meet you!!!
I love how these trees allow for such defintion of the branches, lovely light
Thank you, Kymie… they’re amazing trees. I love them!
My Sony has a Zeiss. Even though it’s only a 5MP camera, the pictures are sharp as a tack. Anyway, what a great place to take Banjo for walkies. I imagine he’s peed on all those trees. BTW, do they have leaves in summer?
Lol!!!!!Well, the world does look a bit different to dogs. They don’t share the same appreciation for aesthetics. Ha ha ha. Yes they have leaves in the Wet season – see here
Beautiful, love the colour graduation.
Lovely work Mieke and aren’t those boababs wonderful.
Thanks, Peter :)I didn’t realise until I posted these today, just how long it has been since I took a boab photo! They certainly are magnificent trees :)
