wonderful work Mieke! great mood achieved here! :)
Thanks so much, Karin!! It was a bit scary driving on these narrow roads in the fog, but they were a joy to photograph!!

Beautiful shot, really suits B/W. Those trees are a bit spooky though – makes me think of the movie ‘Sleepy Hollow’ ;)
:) :) :) Good movie. I think they call it pollarding and you see it a lot in Southern France. Thanks, James!

By featuring the first tree on the left you’ve achieved a really cool 3D look, Mieke. The first thing that struck me about that image was how brilliantly composed it is. I wouldn’t be surprised if you told me you searched high and low for that particular spot. Now all I gotta do is figure out where Alfred Hitchcock is hiding. He’s in there somewhere, I just know it.
Lol! You really do give me way too much credit, Gary – I’ve taken the photo from pretty much the only spot I could pull over in relative safety :) But yes, the positioning of the first tree was planned, and I do think it looks a tad spooky!!! =D

A very beautiful moody image, Mieke !!!
Thank you, Phil!! Fog and mist do tend to transform places into a magical mystical wonderland… :)

Don’t you just love mist! Lovely capture! :)
Thanks, Lori! Yup! It’s great! Unless you’re driving in it on these narrow roads…. then it’s just scary!!!
