A beautiful spot Mieke – Karijini is on the bucket list. Excelent B&W
I want to go back there too :) :) :) Thanks heaps, Stephen!
Don’t know if you will think this is a good thing or a bad thing but as soon as I saw the “thumb” I thought “That looks like a Mieke”Its a fave for me Mieke. Beautiful work, love the prominent foreground perspective.
It’s a good thing (I think!!)Thanks, Garth!!
The detail is astonishing, Mieke. It almost looks like something out of Dr Who, or some sci fi fantasy.
Thanks, Gary :) It’s a place that has a real presence… I don’t know whether everyone feels this way there, but when I was there, it kinda felt like walking into a church. Like I should be tiptoe-ing…
The B&W gives this a quite dramatic effect Mieke.
Thank you, Terry :)
I really like the even light and tone, but I LOVE the detail! Well done.
Thanks heaps, Paul!!
Gorgeous in black and white, Mieke!
Thank you, Mel. We’ll have to do a road trip there together one day… ;)
As usual Mieke fantastic work. Love your detail and composition, the eye moves so nicely through the frame. :)
Thanks Jackie!! That’s a really lovely compliment!!
There’s a tremendous sense of presence here, Mieke!Fabulous work!
Thank you, Rob!! And yes – it’s one of those places where you stop rushing and just “be”…It’s a very special place :)
