The Pinnacles (in Nambung National Park, near Cervantes, Western Australia) are limestone formations, but they were actually formed by ancient root systems! I thought that was pretty cool…
Anyway, this is another shot from my grand adventures with Lori, Thorpey, Jo and Mum :)

Fabulous shot Mieke, the naturally almost complementary colours work a treat :)

  • Thanks, Matt! It’s one of those places that has really strong ‘spirit’… It was a real privilege to be able to spend time there :)

    Magic landscape and great clouds
    Perfect!

  • Thank you, Mark!! Have you ever been there? It’s only a couple of hours from Perth and you are allowed to walk wherever you want (except ON the actual Pinnacles) which is AWESOME for photographers!! :)

  • Here’s a website that has some really interesting historical information about the Pinnacles. I never realised how many amazing places there are to see in WA!!!
