The Tree at Dog Rocks (Batesford, near Geelong in Victoria, Australia) from when I went with John Conway and Hans Kawitzki at Dog Rocks.
Edited differently from a previous upload because the blue sky was a bit unreal-looking (thanks to the polariser) with a lot of input from Mick and several other very knowledgeable photographers!!! Thank you all very much!

The sky is what drew me, glad you made the change. Wonderful
Thanks heaps, Angela! Sometimes it’s worth persisting wtih something, even when you think it’s almost right!

yeah, now I’m getting it :)
Lol! Whew! :) :) :)
Thanks for flagging it in the first place… and then Mick and Francis Keogh gave me lots of advice, plus the feedback from the AIGE meeting, and I also got plenty of input from the whole Landscape Folio group on the APS Web Folio forum… it has been a terrific learning experience and has truly proven to me how valuable it is to seek assistance from other photographers.

I like this more now with the cyan gone and the vignette Mieke. It also works well in fairly high contrast monochrome if you want to try that :-)
Thanks Peter :) I have tried that and I like it, but not as much… and I think people have got to be getting sick of seeing my photos of this tree by now!! Lol!

Oh yes, I do like this one better, contrast and lighting is much better and I like how that sky makes the tree stand out. lovely :o)x
About bloody time you got it! Now tell me how to get it….. LOL
Looks wonderful Mieke, 1000% better than my small effort!
Thanks so much, Mick. I honestly couldn’t tell you what I did… I changed my mind so many times! And it is definitely not “1000% better” than your re-work – it’s just different. Thanks again for all your help!
