The evening light strikes the gorge walls, creating a warm orange glow that reflects in the deep blue of Circular Pool in Dale’s Gorge at Karijini National Park.
Very little editing here. It really did look this vivid. A circular polariser helped though =D

Thanks, Sandra. And yes – I really couldn’t believe the colours myself! Even on the back of the camera! A circular polariser can make a huge difference in a shot like this… turn it one way and you can see all the way down into the water (no reflections); turn it the other and the reflections make the water almost opaque. Pretty amazing!
