Holy smitherins, I was just going to log off when this popped up. What an amazing angle to get this most beautiful of places from Mieke, the whole scale and size of the place has just been opened up and it’s M A S S I V E !
What the close up gives you detail, it loses in grandeaur, this must be one place to see and experience.
Yep… you’ve absolutely right, Stuart. It must be seen in person to be fully appreciated :)
Very nice.. Great composition and it looks like a unique approach
Thanks! I haven’t seen one quite like this, but that doesn’t mean there’s not one out there… =D
this is wonderful Mieke….abstract plus, great lines, pov perfect, and the lil ’fall is a beauty!!Def Fav!!
David, no joke, I’m very honoured that you say so. I’m a bit of a fan of yours =D

Beautifully composed Mieke and gorgeous colours.

stunning!!! will be there sooner or later…. if I don’t get lost!
Lol. Actually, if you’re prone to getting lost, you might want to bmail me before you go… maps are a bit sketchy when you get there!! Thanks, Virginia :)
This spot looks eerily similar to a famous set of Ken Duncan prints. Well found if it is indeed the same spot. As for the photo it’s self I love the composition and colours, well done :)
I had to go and find them online when I read your comment, Tim – same place, very different atmosphere! I didn’t go to all of the places Ken seems to have visited… There are a number of places I clearly need to go back and photograph!! ;) Thanks for your comment :)
