Whoa! Talk about dizzy! What a very interesting shot Mieke, the selective colour really makes it pop too. Love it, instant fav.
If i may make a suggestion, that brick wall may look pretty cool if it were coloured (red brick i assume).

  • Hi Craig :) Thank you!
Thank you very much for the suggestion, and you are right :) I kept the colour in the brickwork for this version, but wanted to try one with just the really bright red. I appreciate your interest, Craig!

Just wonderful, Mieke. Great perspective. I often think that this part of Melbourne Central looks a bit tacky, but you have given it some class. Well done. :o))

  • =D
I think Melbourne is jam-packed with hidden ‘gems’… you find one bit is just such an eyesore, and then you look down an alleyway and you’re suddenly transported to a completely different world… Ah, I miss Melbourne sometimes!!! :)

Now that is a stunning way you have composed & edited this shot…so different from the norm! I have seen many shot of this place but I like yours the best!

  • What a terrific comment to receive, Carol!!! Thank you so much! I have the hugest smile on my face right now! (Is ‘hugest’ a word???)

Fabulous Mieke one of my favourite spots in Melbourne to visit

  • Thanks, Kym! I actually had a jam-packed day planned, and it was only because I found myself just outside that I detoured in for 15 minutes :) Glad I did though!
