    A lovely image
    Welcome to RB

  • Thanks for your comments, Jesika! A few people I know have their work on this site so I thought I’d give it a go! This was a bit of a lucky find – these patterns were strewn across the beach at dawn, only about 10cm across :)

Very nice abstract. It looks like golden ice. Ice fractals also have that “branch” like shapes.

  • I just had to go and look up what a fractal actually is… thanks – I’ve learned something new!! I was in St Moritz one (freeeeezing cold) Winter and saw the ice crystals on the grass “grow” – I’d never seen anything like it before, and I’m so sad that my camera battery couldn’t stand the -25 degree temperatures… I won’t forget it though! Thanks for your comment, Lee :)
