The magnificent pindan cliffs of Reddell Beach, Broome, Western Australia.
Nikon D800 / Zeiss 15mm
ISO 100 • f/22 • 128sec • 15mm
The 15mm has an 95mm filter thread (!!!) and a permanent lens hood so it’s pretty hard to find filters for it, but I figured out that if I waited til the sun went down, I could get a nice long exposure anyway. I kept the ISO down at 100 and wound down the aperture to f/22 and got a two-and-a-bit-minute exposure. The only thing is that there were a lot of “hot” pixels… so I needed to spend a while getting rid of them one by one. Anyway, hopefully it was worth the effort!
Thank you to everyone for your lovely comments on my latest journal. I think I’ll be able to spend more time on photography …and on RedBubble!… from next week onwards. Yay!
Oh my gosh!! How did I not know that RB has metal prints now??!!
