Beautiful symmetry Mieke. I love the movement in the clouds and everything else looks so smooth, the ocean looks like glass. I must look at getting a Neutral Density filter.

  • :) I do like using the ND400… I use it a lot, actually!

I can see why this is such a popular subject. The color is surreal yet so calming and inviting. So beautiful Mieke.

  • Thanks, Sylvia :) :) :)

Tis a work of art, to be sure, to be sure. And the more I study it, the more I realize how much thought went into capturing that image.

  • Thanks, Gary! “Sparrow’s Fart” (as you so fondly call the early hours of the day) has some benefits… you don’t see this sort of thing in the middle of the day!! :D

The "little Blue Boatshed is on my photo bucket list – I’ll get there one day :)
    Great sky Miekes !!

  • Thanks, Jenni!! I think with an icon like this, you can see a thousand photos of it, but you still want to get one of your own!! I have a lot of “bucket list” spots like this… but most of them are overseas!

the slow shutter works so well here – the boatshed well and truly standing against the test of time. Love the hue in this also

  • Thank you, wellman!
