I have no idea why it looks as though the light is coming from behind the hill (as the sun actually rises somewhere almost behind where I am taking this photo!) but I do like the effect!!
I woke up at 4am on a morning I’d planned to sleep in, and decided it was a sign, so I headed down there on my own. I had calm water (for the only time in the entire week), and the place to myself for about an hour before I was joined by Wazza, Sharon and another fellow (who was shooting with a pano film camera!) By then, the wind had sprung up a bit and it wasn’t so mirror-like.
