Friday, April 26th was Competition Day and all the Fagus Bubblers headed off to our secret locations to get “that shot”… only to find that we pretty much all ended up in exactly the same place!! The persistent rain, slick, tree-rooted paths, muddy ankle-deep puddles and backpack-snatching branches finally proved too much to put up with, so the delightful Kylie Sheahen and I squelched our way down to Knyvet Falls to take a few shots there before the day was done. It meant that we almost missed the cut-off for submitting our competition .jpgs, but I’m so glad we went there!
I have to give some credit to Murph for this shot too… it was a conversation we’d had the week before about taking photos in B&W that made me want to take a swirly waterfall shot in mono… Thanks, mate!
Huge congratulations to Rosie Appleton for taking the day… and the Calf and Cow Trophy!! Whoo hoo!!!
